Hibiscus is such a beautiful flower, and you see them everywhere in tropical climates! I’ve seen them used in cocktails in fancy bars, but never in tea! I’m wondering whether you know of any commercially available hibiscus teas, or whether it’s necessary to buy the dried flowers and make it yourself. People like shortcuts, or at least I do, and having it already sold as tea would be super helpful.

      Hi Penelope,
I recommend you to try Hibiscus Lush Tea, from Teabox. (here is a link goo.gl/Ejpj0u). You will enjoy the taste. Tea from store shelfs sometimes are very dry because there is a long way from garden to consumer. This teas are fresher and tastier then any in stores.
I you decide to try, please come back here and share your experience.

I really loved the benefits of it and I have really problematic teeth. I also need some nutrient to protect my bones for my training routine. Do you think will Hibiscus and Honey power drink be a good pre-workout drink?

    • Jelena says:

      Hi Furkan,
Hibiscus is full with fatty acids, omega-3, omega-6, carbohydrates, fiber, protein, vitamins A, C, B1 and B2, iron, copper, and zinc, so it will boost your energy level and immune system, but for protecting bones, I suggest you try aloe vera and honey combination.

I wasn’t aware that hibiscus tea was so good for you. It protects your teeth and heart which is great. And mixing it with honey is a bonus. I like it! It has so many health benefits. How much can you have a day? Is there any drink on the market like it?

    • JelenaBB says:

      Hi Rob.
You can take 2 or 3 cups of Hibiscus tea every day. I do not advise buying tea in stores. Tea is like a fruits or vegetables, the longer standing, loses all healthy natural properties. It can happen to buy tea on the shelf in the store stands for months. My recommendation is that whenever you can buy a fresh tea. Therefore, I recommend Teabox, they send you a tea directly from tea plantations. If you want to try their hibiscus tea, you can do through this link: HIBISCUS LUSH TEA
